What happened
5Color is recalling children’s bicycle helmet and pads sets because the helmets breach the mandatory U.S. bicycle helmet safety standard. Regulators state the helmets miss required impact attenuation, retention-system, positional-stability, labeling, and certification performance and can fail to protect a rider in a crash, raising a serious head-injury risk. The Consumer Product Safety Commission published the recall notice on September 24, 2026.
