Prepare two separate files whose SKU values match exactly.
Catalog / current inventory - six required fields
- Product title - the customer-facing product or item name.
- SKU - the stable item-level SKU that also appears in the sales file.
- On-hand quantity - current sellable units.
- Retail unit price - the regular price for one unit.
- Unit cost - your cost for one unit, not the retail price.
- Product status - active, archived, or the equivalent source status.
Sales history - six required fields
- Order ID - a unique order, receipt, or transaction identifier.
- Order date - the sale date or timestamp.
- Item name - the product or variant name on the order line.
- Line-item SKU - the SKU used to match the sale to the catalog.
- Quantity sold - units sold on that order line.
- Unit sale price - the price for one unit, not gross sales or a line total.
CMP accepts CSV, TSV, TXT, and single-sheet XLSX files. Each file may be up to 25 MB; both files together may be up to 40 MB. The two files may contain up to 250,000 combined data rows, with up to 200 columns per file. Provide at least 120 days of reliable item-level sales history when available. Shorter history may require follow-up or limit verification.
